You’ve both done a great thing for lesbians of all ages. Lesbians have always juggled the invisibility factor but this is certainly the time to stand on the parapets with loud declarations.
Your invisibility is a superpower. Once the war has ended and you declare victory, some of us will be around to forever memorialize you. We shall pen novels and make monuments attesting to your courage and your effectiveness in leading the Revolution.
Future generations of young dykes will admire your portraits and read excitingly about every detail that is uncovered about your personal life. Did she have a cat? Did she have a partner? Did she play sports? Omg, here she is photographed having lunch with Martina or whoever, plotting the Revolution! They will squeal with delight so whatever you do, make sure you pass on all your photos, journals, etc so that a proper memorial can be made. That picture of you as a young feisty dyke has gotta be your book cover so make sure it is preserved.
Thank you for bringing sanity, caring and insight to LGB advocacy. If it weren’t for LGB Alliance I would have been in the dark about how the sinister TQ+ movement had taken over and despoiled our legacy.
PS quite right to make this point explicit too. Keep the real historic recod staright , hthos who come along and become energetic sometimes don't see what went before and all that entailed. You allowed others to 'see ' when they became alerted.
A wonderful list. My stock response. If you have seen it before I am sorry but if not enjoy.
To whom you are attracted sexually is purely subjective and therefore cannot reasonably be contested by an outside observer.
Where you decide to live your life on a spectrum of superficial, stereotypical male to female attributes (and we all do) is also purely subjective and similarly cannot be questioned.
However, your biological sex reflects an objective reality which cannot be changed by your subjective personal view and futile attempts to do so can result in serious health impacts to you as well as harms to members of the sex you are impersonating (primarily women).
Others who are grounded in objective reality should never be forced to accept your subjective version of your actual biological sex.
Finally, it's exciting that the LGB community has separated themselves from the trans activists who are trying to take away the rights of women to fairness in sports and to privacy and safety in their restrooms, locker rooms and prisons. They also advocate for the chemical and surgical mutilation of children many of whom would grow up gay.
Their actions are evil and the
understandable negative reaction to the harm they are causing is spilling over to innocent people who are just going about their business, marrying and leading their lives.
Did you know you were nominated and I think won “lesbian of the year” on the “Two Poofs and a Podcast” podcast? It was their 2024 awards show, released last week.
I don’t think their reach is particularly big but please know that your names are on some of our lips when we talk about the fight against genderism.
Hear hear!!! Signed: Bev’s wife ❤️
Absolutely you deserve recocognition. Not least for consistency in thesechanging times and you all keep hope alive and visiable.
Change happens when a lot of things come together but it took people like youto begin and to nurture that process.
Thank you.
I see you! …as the most eloquent defender of our rights as women and LGB people. Your good works will be rewarded.

Dyke! (We are also invisible to Autocorrect)

Good on you for blowing your own trumpet! There are none so blind as those who will not see! Great article. Thank you, from another old dyke.
